Law enforcement Name Manchester City Assailant Responsible for Dual Deaths at Jewish Temple
The individual who executed a violent attack at a place of worship in the city of Manchester has been named by authorities.
The assailant, the individual of Syrian descent, was killed outside the Jewish worship center at about 09:40.
Two men were killed and three others were hurt as an automobile was driven towards worshippers near the building and before people were assaulted with an edged weapon.
Law Enforcement Probe along with Apprehensions
Police stated three individuals were taken into custody – two individuals in their 30s and a woman in her 60s – as part of the investigation into what has been declared a "terror attack".
A representative for the police mentioned a suspicious device possessed by the attacker throughout the event was evaluated and concluded as not being a viable explosive.
The official further stated: "From our present information, police files do not indicate any earlier Prevent program reports connected to this person."

The attack took place shortly after 09:30 on Yom Kippur – the holiest day in the Jewish calendar – after an automobile was rammed into the temple.
Observers report how security staff blocked the attacker from gaining entry the worship center.
Scene recordings from the scene depicts police with weapons pointing their weapons at the suspect on the ground, using lethal force while he attempts to get up.
Officers alert crowds the man has "a suspicious package" and advise them to back away.

Police personnel, synagogue security and religious leader Daniel Walker were applauded by Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer for preventing a more severe incident.
Addressing from Downing Street following an emergency government meeting, Sir Keir criticized the "violent incident that singled out Jewish people for their faith".
Directing comments toward the Jewish population throughout the United Kingdom, he said: "I guarantee you that I will take all measures in my power to guarantee you the security which you merit, starting with enhanced law enforcement patrols, securing your area."
Community Response
A witness at the scene reports worship was underway as the incident occurred but the synagogue's rabbi, who was leading the service, remained calm as he and others directed the attendees to safety.
The witness continues: "These are genuine heroes."
A female resident, who identified as a practicing Jewish woman who lives next door to the worship center, claims that as soon as the attacker exited the vehicle he "started stabbing individuals close by".
She told the press: "The rabbi remained remarkably composed, he shut the doors to the worship center to prevent him from gaining entry."
"He secured all occupants within. He is a hero, the situation might have developed into more severe."
Authority Comments
The chief constable mentioned multiple numerous congregants inside the synagogue during the attack.
He commended security staff and worshippers who had shut the attacker out, mentioning that thanks to the "immediate bravery demonstrated by protection personnel and the worshippers inside, in addition to the rapid reaction from authorities, the attacker was prevented from getting inside."
The city leader commented: "This evening, our first thoughts go to the relatives of the victims who lost their lives, those injured and those affected by this, a dreadful targeted assault on our Jewish friends. We condemn it outright."

Probe Developments
On Thursday evening, law enforcement confirmed secured locations remained in place on White House Avenue and at another location, associated to the arrests executed before.
"We can confirm that three suspects are being held and have been arrested related to commission, preparation and instigation terror-related activities," the official added.
They said the three victims involved an individual stabbed, a person impacted by the automobile, and another who subsequently visited to medical care with wounds "that could have occurred during the apprehension of the assailant."
